“Never forget to always involve Allah in all your efforts and activities.”
Libatkan Allah — “involve Allah” — means making Allah not a backup helper we call only when our own strength runs out, but the first partner in every undertaking. Before starting: bismillah. After finishing: alhamdulillah. When failing: innalillahi, and acceptance of His decree. The order is always the same — Allah first, then our effort follows behind Him.
It is like farming land that does not belong to us. We can prepare the seeds, hoe, and water every day, but it is not our hands that make things grow or send the rain. A person who involves Allah works as hard as possible as part of worship, then hands the result over to the Owner of all results. That is why he is diligent like someone who hopes, and calm like someone who has nothing left to lose.
The application is simple yet changes everything. Open work, study, even a journey with prayer and the right intention. Be honest even when no one is watching, because He is watching. At the crossroads of a decision, pray istikhara and ask for guidance. And when the outcome falls short of expectation, trust that there is a wisdom Allah is preparing behind His decree.
Effort without Allah makes us arrogant when we succeed and broken when we fail. Effort together with Allah makes us grateful in success, patient in failure, and still walking in both. Because as long as we are with Him, we were never actually walking alone.
